I’m thinking of migrating to WordPress. This will, of course, only happen after I actually accomplish something useful on the research front, but any advice would be appreciated.

An Ergodic Walk 
I moved to WordPress from TypePad’s MovableType system, which was designed specifically for Luddites such as myself. I love it. It’s actually amazing software, especially for something that’s freeware. The only reason I’ve had issues with it at all is totally my ISP’s fault; my connection is so messed-up that I can’t reliably upload files in their entirety. Nonetheless, I’d REALLY suggest it. Just make sure you’re comfortable with CSS if you want to tweak the default layout. That was the only thing that gave me any pause, because I’m really anal about how I want my site to look.
